DESTINATION INFORMATION

Honolulu is located on Oahu, the most popular of the Hawaiian Islands. Its popularity is due to the mild climate (average 87°F in summer, 80°F in winter) and the variety of activities available for your enjoyment. Whether you want to swim, surf, hike through a rainforest, take a bike tour along a mountain, tour the local attractions, or just lay on the beach, there is something for everyone.

The white sand beaches offer a wide array of fun activities including swimming, surfing, windsurfing, boogie boarding, and snorkeling. With water temperatures ranging from 75°F to 80°F, the azure blue waters are hard to resist! Other available activities include golf, tennis, skydiving, parasailing, helicopter tours, horseback riding, jet skiing, water skiing, scuba diving, kayaking, sailing, and fishing.

Tour historic monuments such as the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor or Iolani Palace, where Hawaii's Kings and Queens once ruled. Visit one of Oahu's museums or the Honolulu Botanical Gardens (over 600 acres consisting of five separate gardens). Take a sunset cruise or a submarine ride. Explore the world beneath the sea with shore dives, boat dives, and day and night dives. Hike to the Diamond Head State Monument atop a 763-ft. volcano.

Enjoy Sea Life Park, a world-class marine park featuring performing dolphins, sea lions, penguins, and much, much more. Sea Life Park boasts marine life interactive programs such as Hawaiian Ray Encounter, Dolphin Adventures, Splash U, and Sea Trek: An Underwater Photo Safari. Other sites of interest include the Dole Plantation and the Kahuku Sugar Mill.
